After a very different and challenging year, spring is finally here and summer is fast approaching. This is a busy time for many, and also for the Chamber.
A new board was elected during the spring meeting, and I am pleased to welcome Håkan Nilsson, CFO and Deputy CEO at MTR Nordic, as a new member of the board. Håkan is a great addition to our already very engaged and devoted board. The board is excited about the year ahead and to continue to work for cross-regional business opportunities between Sweden and Hong Kong.
Living in the new digital world, the distance between Hong Kong and Sweden is shorter than ever. We are now working closely with SwedCham Hong Kong regarding events and updates on the business environment. We aim to provide a valuable platform for members of both organizations to meet and to have business exchange. The network will give access to our members to the Hong Kong ecosystem.
During the spring, the Chamber arranged several well attended digital seminars covering important topics, such as sustainability, green investment and going global. On June 16th, we are hosting a digital Summer Mingle with a talk by our man in Hong Kong, Björn Segerblom, on 50 years of business. We hope to see you there!
