Happy Holidays Dear Hong Kong friends!
Thank you all for being part of the network of Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in Sweden! It is time to renew your membership for 2021.
We hope that you visit our website www.hongkong.se, enjoy reading our newsletters and participate in our events. Quite a few events have been lined up before the closing of 2020 – for example an interview with the new Consul General of Sweden to Hong Kong (Nov 20), we learn about 5G transforming Hong Kong International Airport, a sharing of the journey of establishing business in Hong Kong and China by the company REJS (Dec 4) and last but not least the webinar Doing Business in Hong Kong (Dec 16) organized by our South Chapter. Due to the outbreak of covid-19, we had to cancel our yearly event Chinese New Year Celebration and a few other meet ups. However, we managed to move some of our events online, for example the webinar in April with the theme Business Beyond Covid-19. We have also strengthened collaborations with other partners such as, Business Sweden, Consulate General of Sweden in Hong Kong and Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, by cohosting events and extending event invitations between our networks. Members have been invited to join webinars such as e-meeting with Sweden’s minister for Foreign Trade and the Chairman of Investor, Green Tech Opportunities related to the Greater Bay Area and International business – Opportunities and Challenges in Hong Kong.
We need your support! The Chamber is operated as a non-profit organization. We have a Secretary General working 20 percent for minimal remuneration. We need every support we can get in order to continue our work to enhance business relations between Hong Kong and Sweden, to keep up our network and to grow this network together with you.
We would like to ask for your help to be the paying member in 2021! The private/individual membership is 500 SEK per year (student 250 SEK). To apply for the private membership, please pay to plusgiro nr: 108080-3. Remember to write your name and email address in the message field.
