Our board member and spokesperson for Hong Kong Chapter North, Robert Winroth welcomes the cooperation between the two chambers and sees strong potential in building relations between the region Västerbotten in the north of Sweden and Hong Kong.
In order to support and strengthen the work within internationalization and export, the Västerbotten Chamber of Commerce has decided to set up an international committee in close cooperation with Hong Kong’s Chamber of Commerce in Sweden. This is to further strengthen North Sweden’s business communities opportunity for more and new business in Asia.
Torborg Chetkovich, the chairperson for Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in Sweden, says that “it is very positive that we now can take the next step to strengthen the cooperation between Hong Kongs Chamber of Commerce in Sweden and the North of Sweden. Västerbottens Chamber of Commerce has a very strong position with broad networks which will further strengthen the business exchange between our regions”.
Today, the region Västerbotten arranges the annual day at Grand Hotel in Stockholm and the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in Sweden will be present.
