SUMMARY:Postponed until autumn due to covid-19: The Chamber supports SME’s going global
DESCRIPTION:Small and medium sized companies in Sweden (and many other countries) have to reach out and “go global”. That is to discover new markets and contexts\, new ideas\, new partners\, investment possibilities\, etc. They are often too small to find these markets and the new rules and conditions out there on their own. \nIdeon Science Parks and Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce’s Chapter South are now planning a one-day-meeting to support SME’s in southern Sweden to go global. It will be arranged as a web conference with four global target areas\, Lund\, Hong Kong\, New York and Silicon valley\, connected simultaneously. The web presentations will have follow ups in the afternoon with group or person to person discussions with local crews and possibilities for further contacts. \nIdeon is one of the oldest and biggest science parks in Europe and is now also the European home for UNOPS (UN innovation centre). \nMore info: contact  Bengt.Streijffert@gmail.com\, Chairperson HKCCSE’s Chapter South. \nThis is the second web conference organized by HKCCE’s Chapter South. On June 5\, 2019\, a  web conference between Hong Kong and Lund was organized on regional development in the Greater Bay Area and Öresund\, both being new “bridge regions”. Secretary Patrik Nip was keynote speaker. More information about this conference you find here: https://www.hongkong.se/2019/07/01/watch-the-video-from-the-hong-kong-oresund-seminar/

SUMMARY:Seminar with Business Sweden
DESCRIPTION:Meet the demand of Hong Kong’s complex healthcare needs with Swedish solutions\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin Business Sweden on a seminar/webinar Tuesday 2nd April to explore how Swedish innovation and world-class healthcare services can play a pivotal collaborative role in the future growth of a vast array of Hong Kong’s medical sectors. \nSwedish innovation and collaborative healthcare solutions are in demand in Hong Kong\, where increasingly complex health issues are challenging established and efficient healthcare provision. \nHong Kong’s healthcare system sets a high standard of care\, with excellent global rankings in life expectancy and infant mortality but is facing internal and external pressure on its normally robust system. \nHong Kong is a natural entry point into the Asian market with its very low market entry barrier which includes no compulsory medical devices registration\, no sales tax\, VAT\, or import tax on medical devices. \nDuring the session\, Business Sweden will provide a comprehensive overview of Hong Kong’s healthcare market including: \n\nMarket size\nGrowth drivers and trends\nImport regulation\nOpportunities for Swedish healthcare companies\nCurrent and future challenges\n\nYou will also get insight into relevant support provided by Business Sweden to help Swedish companies expand into the Hong Kong market to grow global sales. \nWhen: Tuesday 2nd April 2019\, 14:00 – 15:00\nWhere: Klarabergsviadukten 7 – Stockholm World Trade Centre/ WEBINAR \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
