
The Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in Sweden is pleased to announce its newly appointed Board and leadership following the Annual General Meeting 2026.
We are pleased that Eric Zhang, Ph.D has been re-appointed as Chairman of the Board and that Jörgen Halldinhas been re-elected as Vice Chairman, providing continuity in the Chamber’s leadership as we continue to strengthen business exchange and practical collaboration between Sweden and Hong Kong.
At the same time, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to our outgoing board members Jesper Nyås and Niklas Walter, for their valuable contributions, engagement,and support during their time on the board. Their efforts have been important to the Chamber’s development.
We are also very pleased to welcome four new board members, bringing strong and complementary experience from international business, industry, finance, legal affairs and life science:
Erik Hellners – General Counsel of MTR Nordic, with extensive Sweden–Hong Kong business experience and long-standing leadership in international legal and public affairs.
Peter Ling-Vannerus – Chief Representative of SEB in Beijing, with deep China experience and a strong background in international banking and chamber leadership.
Anders Liss – senior industrial executive from Scania with broad global leadership experience across Europe, Asia and emerging markets.
Lucy Robertshaw – business development professional with strong international life science and ecosystem experience.
Julie Borselius, Jens Wernborg, Linda Bradley, Hanna Yan Karlsson and Min Xie.
We would also like to express our gratitude to our Senior Advisors Mats Gerlam,Torsten Linder, Hanna Raftell and Elin Elliot for their continued support, engagement and valuable contributions to the Chamber’s work.
With renewed leadership and expanded board competence, the Chamber enters the coming period with strengthened capacity to support business exchange and concrete collaboration between Sweden and Hong Kong.
The new board reflects a broadening of the Chamber’s competence and international reach, at a time when business, innovation and investment links between Sweden and Hong Kong continue to develop across innovation, life science, sustainability, investment and business development.
